Documents

In Diia digital documents appear automatically after you sign in, if your data is in the state registers, and they have the same force as paper and plastic originals, so no one may demand the physical one when you show it in Diia. You can share copies. mObywatel keeps Polish documents in one place, mDowód, a mobile driving licence, various IDs and the Large Family Card, and warns you when documents or third-party liability insurance expire.

Services

Diia gives Ukrainian public services in a few taps, and it also signs documents with Diia.Signature, see e-signature apps. mObywatel lets you block your PESEL number against fraud, use Safely on the Net, see your prescriptions and penalty points and check air quality.

Signing in

Diia works after you sign in, for citizens of Ukraine and foreigners with a residence permit. mObywatel asks you to confirm identity with a trusted profile, an electronic identity card or electronic banking, and its support works on weekdays.

Verdict

Living in Poland, keep both: mObywatel for Polish documents and services, Diia for everything Ukrainian. For getting around, see transport apps for Poland, and for parcels home, InPost vs Nova Post.
