What we collect
We record anonymous usage signals, page views and store taps, using a random browser identifier, never your name or precise location. If you list an app, we store the details you submit and a contact you provide.
How we use it
Visit signals power the ranking. Contact details are used only to reach you about your listing or sponsorship.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with the processors needed to run the service (hosting, database, payments).
Your choices
You can request removal of a listing you own and its associated contact at any time via our contact channel.
Emails we send
If your app is listed on Census, we may email the app’s published developer or business contact about that listing — its position and ranking changes, sponsorship and feature options, and relevant product updates. These are business messages about your own product, not consumer marketing.
Where contact details come from
Contact details for a listed app come from public sources: the developer contact shown on the App Store and Google Play, and the developer’s own website. We do not buy or rent contact lists.
Opting out of emails
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — we will stop contacting you and, on request, remove your listing and contact details entirely. Our lawful basis for these messages is legitimate interest in reaching a business about its own listed product; you may object at any time.
