Lumi is an expense tracker designed around not having to open it. Set up an iOS Shortcut once and every Apple Pay payment logs itself; for cash, a double tap on the back of the iPhone opens Lumi straight into recording mode. A receipt scanner reads amount, date and merchant from a photo, category budgets warn you before a limit is hit, and savings goals sit alongside.

The forecast is the clever part: it projects where you will land at month-end from your current pace and history, and flags when spending runs faster than usual. Automatic logging covers Apple Pay only, so card-on-file subscriptions and bank transfers still need entering. It is built for people who tried spreadsheets, gave up after a week and want tracking that happens in the moment of paying.
