How the catalog works
Prom describes itself as a marketplace: many sellers list clothing, electronics, children’s goods, building materials and tools, and some of them sell handmade items. You browse by category or search, filter for offers, read full information about the product and the seller and can buy in wholesale or retail quantities. Rozetka describes itself as an online store that covers electronics, clothing, cosmetics, books, home goods, toys, pet supplies, furniture and sports gear, with a catalog and filters to narrow it down.
Choosing, ordering and delivery
Rozetka lets you read customer reviews, add products to a comparison list to see features, price and reviews in one place, build wish lists and share them, then order with delivery to a Rozetka store, express delivery anywhere in Ukraine or a courier for bulky items, and track the parcel. Prom lets you message sellers directly in the app, look up each seller before you buy and pay with the method you prefer. Prom’s listing does not describe delivery options, so check them on the product page.
Extras
Rozetka offers installment plans and credit from partner banks, bonuses for orders and reviews, and Trade-In: bring an old gadget and your ID to a Rozetka store, get a certificate for its appraised value and use it towards a new purchase. Prom highlights daily promotions from sellers and eco-friendly products among its listings.
Verdict
Pick Rozetka for one store with its own pickup points, side by side comparison, installments and Trade-In. Pick Prom when you want to reach many independent sellers, ask them questions in chat and buy handmade or in bulk. To follow orders from both in one place, see parcel tracking apps, and to plan what to buy, shopping list apps. For OLX, Epicentr, Kasta and Shafa too, see Ukrainian marketplace apps.
