Flutter 3.47 and the latest stable version
Short answer: the latest stable Flutter is 3.47.5, released on September 18, 2026 with Dart 3.13.4. Flutter 3.47.0 shipped on August 12, 2026. Its biggest changes: Material and Cupertino are now available as standalone packages, material_ui and cupertino_ui 1.0; Impeller is the default renderer on macOS, Windows and Linux; and the minimum OS versions rose to iOS 15 and macOS 12 to support Xcode 27. Run flutter upgrade to get it.

Standalone material_ui and cupertino_ui
material_ui and cupertino_ui, so they can ship fixes on their own schedule, planned weekly, instead of with quarterly SDK releases. Moving is opt-in in 3.47: the core SDK still includes the old libraries, and Google plans to formally deprecate them in the fall stable release in November. To migrate, run dart fix --apply --code=migrate_design_widgets, which rewrites imports of package:flutter/material.dart and package:flutter/cupertino.dart. If it fails to update pubspec.yaml, a known early bug, run flutter pub add material_ui yourself and then dart fix --apply again. While your dependencies catch up, wrap the app in MaterialUiCompatibilityBridge. Localization delegates moved into the new packages too, and GlobalMaterialLocalizations.delegates now includes the Cupertino and Widgets delegates.iOS and macOS: Xcode 27 readiness
AppDelegate or plugins on the old lifecycle need manual work, see the iOS 27 UIScene requirement and Xcode 27 requirements. Flutter now warns when you build on Intel Macs or target both architectures, and flutter config --enable-macos-arm64-only builds Apple silicon only. CocoaPods is in maintenance mode and 92 of the top 100 iOS plugins have moved to Swift Package Manager; flutter config --enable-swift-package-manager turns it back on if you had disabled it.Android versions to match
flutter.compileSdkVersion and flutter.targetSdkVersion at API 36 and flutter.minSdkVersion at API 24; Google recommends using these variables in your build files. If your upgrade also moves you to AGP 9, follow the AGP 9 migration, since Flutter’s docs now include a guide to built-in Kotlin, and check the Gradle 9 upgrade. For Play’s separate target API deadline, see Google Play’s target API level requirement.Desktop, web and tooling
FLTEnableImpeller to false in Info.plist on macOS, disable it with ImpellerSwitch::Disabled in main.cpp on Windows, or call fl_dart_project_set_enable_impeller with FALSE on Linux; Google says these fallbacks will be removed later. Windows and Linux gained flavors, and wide gamut color is on by default on macOS. Widget Previews is now stable, with local caching in a .widget_preview/ folder. On the web, Wasm stays opt-in with flutter build web --release --wasm, and it needs package:web instead of dart:html. Breaking changes in 3.47 include the removal of describeEnum, OpenGL ES render-to-texture content stored top-down, and new semantics header behavior on iOS and Android.Where Censuus fits
