How to train your eye for colour
Two blues that look the same until you put them side by side. Then one is clearly greener, and you cannot stop seeing it. A good eye for colour is not a gift you are born with. It is a habit of noticing, and it gets sharper with practice.
Exercises that sharpen colour perception, then colour tools and a colour game. Screens differ, and features such as Night Shift and True Tone change how colours look. Turn them off when you judge colour, and check important work on more than one screen. If you suspect colour blindness, an eye specialist can test for it.

Break colour into three parts
Hue is the colour family, saturation is how strong it is, brightness is how light or dark. Describing a colour this way makes differences easier to see and to fix.
Guess, then check
Look at a colour on screen, guess its values, then measure it with a colour picker. The gap between your guess and the answer is what trains your eye. Compare tools in colour picker apps for Mac.
Practise with games
Colour matching games turn the same exercise into play. Short daily rounds help more than long sessions. For other quick puzzles, see match-3 games.
Use it in your work
