How to get into an airport lounge
A long delay, a crowded gate and no free socket, while a door nearby leads to quiet seats and coffee. You may already have a way in through your card, your airline or a membership. Finding out takes a few minutes before you fly.

Find the access you already have
Business class tickets and airline status often include lounge entry. Some bank cards come with a lounge programme; check your card benefits or ask your bank.
Check the lounge, not just the airport
Lounge apps show which lounges are in your terminal, whether they are before or after security and their opening hours. A lounge in another terminal is no use on a short connection.
Know the rules at the door
Read whether guests are allowed, any time limits and dress or age rules. Some lounges limit entry when busy, so have a backup plan.
