Apple Calculator on iPhone
Calculator from Apple has basic and scientific modes where you type a whole expression with brackets before pressing equals. History keeps earlier results so you can copy them or go back. Unit conversion covers hundreds of units such as length, speed, temperature and weight. In Maths Notes you type maths, or write it with Apple Pencil on iPad, and it solves the expression as soon as you add an equals sign, with variables and graphs.
Google Calculator and Samsung Calculator
Google Calculator handles basic sums and scientific operations such as trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions. Samsung Calculator does the four basic operations and engineering calculations, keeps a history whose formulas you can reuse with a tap and has a unit calculator for area, length, temperature and other units.
Calculator₊ on iPhone
Calculator₊ by Impala Studios has a standard and a scientific calculator, a history log and a unit converter, for example from inches to centimetres. It adds ready-made fields for percentages, increases and decreases, and a fraction calculator.
