Tidyshot: Screenshot OCR

Tidyshot sits behind the screenshot tool you already use on the Mac, whether the built-in one, CleanShot or Shottr. Each time you take a screenshot it reads the text in the image, gives the file a real name instead of a timestamp, and files it where you can search for it later. The editor blurs or pixelates any area, adds arrows, callouts, numbered steps and highlights, and crops to presets for Instagram or 16:9, and edits are saved as a copy so the original stays intact.

The standout is automatic redaction: one click finds emails, phone and card numbers, addresses, tracking numbers, IP addresses and QR codes and hides them before you share.
