How to set up STATOK — and answers to common questions
STATOK is designed to be running in a few minutes. Here's the setup path, then straight answers to the questions people ask before they download.
The setup steps and answers below follow the app’s own onboarding and listing, checked on 2026-09-22. Nothing here requires payment; Pro is optional.
Step 1 — Download and open
Get STATOK free from the App Store (iOS 15.1 or later) and open it. No payment is needed to start.
Step 2 — Connect Monobank
Authorise the Monobank connection. Your cards and a 30-day transaction history sync straight away, and you pick which cards to include. New transactions then arrive in real time.
Step 3 — Let the AI categorise, then adjust
STATOK auto-categorises transactions from merchant codes. Skim the first batch and correct anything that looks off — the app learns your preferences.
Step 4 — Set budgets and a goal
Add monthly, weekly, or daily limits for the categories you care about, then create at least one savings goal with a target and deadline so the assistant has something to coach toward.
Step 5 — Turn on the assistant and ask
Opt in to the AI assistant and start asking real questions — spending by category, affordability checks, new goals. This is where the app earns its keep.
