Flipo is a vocabulary app built around Ukrainian, and it runs both ways. Ukrainian speakers learn English, German, Spanish or Romanian; speakers of those languages learn Ukrainian, Cyrillic alphabet included. Every card comes with an AI-written translation, an example sentence and a small illustration, and reviews are scheduled with FSRS, the spaced-repetition algorithm Anki itself moved to. As a word matures the exercise changes, from simple recognition to listening with the spelling hidden, producing it from the translation, or filling a gap in a sentence.
There is also an AI tutor that knows which words you are on and can write a short story with them or explain a mistake in your own language, though it needs you to sign in. Depth is uneven by direction: English for Ukrainians goes from A1 to C2 with idioms and phrasal verbs, while Spanish and Romanian start at beginner decks. For anyone learning to or from Ukrainian, it is one of the few tools made for that pair rather than adapted to it.
