Family Safety: GPS Locator

Family Safety is a location-sharing app for a family or other invited circle. Members see each other's shared location on a map, review recent trips and routes, save places like home or school and get arrival and departure notifications for them, and can send a manual check-in to say they are fine. People join a circle with a code.

Each member decides whether to share and grants permission on their own phone, which keeps it consensual rather than covert tracking. Location features depend on permissions and battery settings, so updates can lag. Apple's built-in Find My covers much of the same ground; this app's appeal is a circle view and place alerts in one place. Parents of children with their first phone are the obvious audience.
