Apps to pay for electricity and gas and submit meter readings
Paying for utilities on the phone usually means two steps: send the meter reading, then pay. YASNO does both for electricity and lets you analyse consumption by bill. KUB from Naftogaz does both for gas and reads the meter from a photo. Portmone pays bills to many other service companies, from internet and TV to security.

YASNO: electricity bill and readings
YASNO shows how much you owe for electricity, lets you submit meter readings and pay utilities, with the same personal account as on the YASNO website. You can set reminders to submit readings, add several properties and pay their bills in one tap, analyse electricity or gas consumption by bill and save generated bills as PDF, send them in a messenger or print them. Businesses can apply to change supplier or tariff.
KUB: gas from Naftogaz
KUB is Naftogaz’s app for gas services. You add your personal accounts and pay online for gas and its delivery, submit readings by typing them or by scanning the meter with the camera, and see the balance, payment history and consumption. Reminders come for bills and readings, several addresses and meters live in one place, and you can check the energy efficiency of your home and whether you can apply for a subsidy.
Portmone: bills to many companies
Portmone is a payment service: you choose your region, enter the company code or name, fill in the details and pay. Service companies are grouped by type, such as telephony, TV, security, internet and utilities, and templates save details for repeat bills. It also tops up mobile accounts and transport cards in several cities and transfers money to cards. You can pay without signing up or create an account with an email and phone number.
Which one to use
Use the app of your supplier for the reading and bill of that service, YASNO for electricity and KUB for gas, since they know your account.
