How to set up Wishbox, and answers to common questions
A quick start guide plus straight answers, all based on the app's own listing.
The steps below follow the flow described in the live App Store listing (checked 2026-09-22); the answers cover cost, platforms, reservations, money gifts and privacy exactly as the listing states them, with nothing invented and no Premium price quoted.
Step 1 — Install Wishbox
Install Wishbox from the App Store; it needs an iPhone on iOS 18.0 or newer.
Step 2 — Create your first list
Create your first list — free lists are public and hold a limited number of items.
Step 3 — Add items
Add items: paste a product link from any store and Wishbox fills in the title, image, and price; or add by hand or by photo.
Step 4 — Add a money gift (optional)
Add a money gift by dropping a link to your PayPal, Revolut, Wise, Monobank, or PrivatBank.
Step 5 — Import, share and reserve
Import an existing list from Amazon or GoWish by pasting its link, then share by link or QR code — public, or privately to specific people. Ask friends and family to reserve items so gifts don’t get doubled up.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wishbox free?
Yes. Your first public list holds a limited number of items. Premium adds unlimited lists and items, private lists, custom cover photos, expiry dates, and QR codes. The listing doesn't state a Premium price — check the current figure in the app.
What platforms does it support?
iPhone only, iOS 18.0 or newer. No Android or web version is listed.
Can people see who reserved my gifts?
No — reservations can be fully anonymous, so the recipient never sees who claimed what.
Does Wishbox handle the money for money gifts?
No. A money gift is simply a link to your own payment service; Wishbox states it never sees or stores payment details.
Can I import a list I already have?
Yes — paste a link from Amazon, GoWish, and more, and your items import in one go.
Does it show ads or sell my data?
The app states no ads, no trackers, and no selling of your data.
Can I keep a list private?
Yes — keep it just for you, or share privately with specific people. Private lists are a Premium feature.
