How to set up Kairoscope, and answers to common questions
A quick start guide plus straight answers, all based on the app's own listing.
The steps below follow the flow described in the live App Store listing (checked 2026-09-22); the answers cover platforms, Premium, the energy layer and privacy exactly as the listing states them, with nothing invented and no Premium price quoted.
Step 1 — Install Kairoscope
Install Kairoscope from the App Store; it needs an iPhone on iOS 16.4 or newer.
Step 2 — Choose your clock view
Choose a 12- or 24-hour clock view and set up your event categories with colours.
Step 3 — Add events
Add events by dragging on the ring, or by typing or voice; park untimed ideas in the backlog.
Step 4 — Import your calendar (optional)
Import your Google or Microsoft calendar (read-only) for context. Note that imports are one-way — there is no two-way sync back to those calendars.
Step 5 — Turn on reminders and try the energy layer
Turn on reminders, departure suggestions, and quiet hours so the day stays on track, then try the energy layer — assign “spoons” costs, set a budget, and log mood in two taps. Review the patterns over weeks: time by category, workload, trends, and the heatmap.
