FloatViewer is a Mac image viewer that keeps a picture floating above all your other windows, borderless, so you can use it as a reference while you work in another app. Beyond viewing, it reads RAW files, handles very large images smoothly, extracts text from images with OCR, and includes color analysis tools.
It is macOS only, so it will not help on iPhone or iPad. The audience is clear: designers, illustrators, photographers and developers who constantly compare against a reference image and are tired of juggling Preview windows.
