DropLink turns files into a link. You pick, you get a compact URL back, and you forward it.
DropLink sends large files, especially videos, as a link without shrinking them. You pick a file and get a link immediately, because nothing is uploaded first: the download streams straight from your phone while DropLink is open. On the same Wi-Fi it switches to a direct local connection, across networks it goes through relay servers, and interrupted downloads resume. The recipient opens the link in any browser with nothing to install and gets the untouched original.
The trade-off of no upload is that your phone has to stay online with the app open until the other person finishes downloading. There is no account. It suits anyone sending full-quality video to an editor, a client or family, who is tired of chat apps compressing it or capping file size.
