Nearer — Ближче in Ukrainian — is built for one relationship at a time. It isn't a messenger or a social network: there are no outsiders, feeds, or followers, just you and your partner. You send one-tap signals like “miss you” or “call me”, answer a question of the day together, count the days you've been together and down to your next meeting, and keep a bit of the relationship on your home screen. It launched in September 2026, so we describe it by what it does rather than a track record it hasn't had time to build.
Everything here comes from the live App Store listing and the developer's own site, checked on 2026-09-27. Nearer is a young app with only a handful of ratings; nothing here implies a scale it hasn't shown. Signals: “I’m here” in one tap
The centre of the app is the signal: “miss you”, “thinking of you”, “hugs”, or “call me”, sent with one tap. Your partner gets an instant notification and can reply with a signal or in their own words. It covers the moments when a full message feels like too much and silence feels like too little.

Nearer counts how long you’ve been together and counts down to your next meeting; if one of you changes the date, both see it. A home-screen widget shows your partner’s status, the latest signal, your days together, and the nearest event without opening the app.

A shared wishlist holds ideas, gifts, and plans for your next meeting — and only your partner can mark a wish as fulfilled. Moods, answers, and signals all feed a couple level, a small nudge to check in every day.

The core stays free. Pro is one subscription that covers both partners and adds question categories (deep, fun, about the future, memories, “getting to know each other again”, and 18+), an extra daily question and your own question for your partner, “Guess the Answer” (a daily quiz on who knows whom better), special dates with reminders, custom signals only the two of you understand, a shared memories album with “on this day a year ago”, a weekly recap every Sunday, and the full archive.
