How to set up Nearer, and answers to common questions

A quick start guide plus straight answers, all based on the app's own listing and the developer's site.

The setup steps and answers below follow the App Store listing and the developer's site, checked on 2026-09-27. Nothing here requires payment; Pro is optional.

Step 1 — Install

Install Nearer (Ближче — щодня для двох) from the App Store; it needs an iPhone on iOS 17.6 or newer. The core is free.

Step 2 — Sign in

Step 3 — Invite your partner

Pair up through a single invite link — the pairing code fills in automatically when your partner opens it.

Step 4 — Add the widget and set your dates

Add the home-screen widget, then set the date you got together and the date of your next meeting so the counters start.

Step 5 — Start the daily rituals

Send your first signal, set your status and mood, answer the question of the day, and start a shared wishlist.

Yes — the core is free, and the developer says basic features stay free. Pro is optional, one subscription for both partners.

Question categories (including 18+), an extra daily question and your own questions, “Guess the Answer”, special dates with reminders, custom signals, a memories album, a weekly recap, and the full archive.
